What We Offer

Family Practice

Dr Wilson offers full spectrum office based Family Practice medical care. Although, trained in obstetrics, Dr. Wilson does not actively practice obstetrics.

For any medical issue requiring specialty care, Dr. Wilson will refer. However, Maxwell Medical Group's practice area is wide-ranging and we like to keep our patients in-house when possible.

Dr. Wilson collects most medical specimens (blood draws, etc.) in office and couriers them to the lab, saving patients the inconvenience of personally going to the lab themselves.

Special

Dr. Wilson's practice is unique in that he actively combines Emergency Medicine (Emergency Physicians Professional Association) with Family Practice (Maxwell Medical Group). Practicing Emergency Medicine has sharpened Family Practice skills, and vice versa. How many doctors do you know who practice both? Additionally, Dr. Wilson calls upon his six years of locum tenens (traveling) experience in his day-to-day practice decisions.

Experience

Dr. Wilson is constantly developing and evolving his practice to keep it up to date and special.

Currently Dr. Wilson is looking into botox treatments and other cosmetic interventions to expand the practice further.

 

 

How we started

After completing formal medical education in June of 1993, Dr Wilson pursued a locum tenens practice style. This means he traveled extensively working in multiple medical settings in multiple different states, accumulating clinical experience.

On January 1st, 2000, Maxwell Medical Group opened its doors.

The following year, on June 30, 2001 Emergency Physicians Professional Association entered the picture, with on-going ER exposure. The practice continues to be active, dynamic and growing.
