Hal B. Wilson, M.D.
is a Board-Certified Family Practitioner. He established Maxwell Medical Group in 2000 with the goal to provide the best medical care for his patients by getting to know you and manage your medical needs, whatever they may be.
Dr. Wilson is trained, experienced and constantly expanding his knowledge of primary care combined with an extensive exposure to the practice of emergency medicine.
He is here to help and the best start is always a good medical history dialogue.

Deborah L. Lex
Deborah Lex has been serving as Maxwell Medical Group's Manager since 2004.
She brings to her position many years of experience working for practices in internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, urologic surgery, gynecology, and pediatrics. The knowledge she gained from a variety of specialists assists you when you call to schedule an appointment or during an after hours emergency.
Deborah has enjoyed getting to know the many families she serves and enjoys surprising them when scheduling tests and procedures quickly. Her open scheduling policy allows patients to be seen soon, usually within 24 hours of a call. She enjoys assisting Dr. Wilson in running the office on schedule, something that new patients don't expect.
Deborah receives a lot of satisfaction when a patient is so happy with their care that they refer us to their friends and family.

How we started
After completing formal medical education in June of 1993, Dr Wilson pursued a locum tenens practice style. This means he traveled extensively working in multiple medical settings in multiple different states, accumulating clinical experience.
On January 1st, 2000, Maxwell Medical Group opened its doors.
The following year, on June 30, 2001 Emergency Physicians Professional Association entered the picture, with on-going ER exposure. The practice continues to be active, dynamic and growing.
Some explanations
The practice is named after a black cat named Maxwell, who came from the Arizona Humane Society.
Maxwell lived a full life 1994 - 2004, and now Dr. Wilson is owned by three Shiba Inu canines named Sampson, Sandifer, and Stella.
However, we are not changing the name of the practice to Sampson Medical Group or any other name. Maxwell lives on!
